The BEYN Offer
The Birmingham Early Years Networks (BEYN) provides a comprehensive range of professional development and learning opportunities at three levels:
Universal: To build knowledge, confidence, capability, and coherence across the profession.
Enhanced: To strengthen provision and practice in priority areas.
Bespoke: To provide in‑setting support focused on strengthening practitioners’ knowledge, skills, and understanding of their role in promoting high‑quality communication and language development.
We aim to ensure that every individual can access the right support to grow; every setting is strengthened in its practice; and every district and cluster builds effective professional partnerships and collaboration focused on securing the best outcomes for every child.
We work with partners and organisations to share information and analyse data. This helps us plan effectively, avoid duplication, use resources wisely, and provide a clear, coordinated offer to early years practitioners across the sector, thereby supporting all partners in achieving our shared goals.
