A briefing to support individuals or organisations considering starting a group-based childcare business in Birmingham: An online session led by Birmingham City Council Early Years & Childcare Service

If you are considering starting a group-based childcare business in Birmingham (such as but not limited to, a Day Nursery or a Preschool) then this briefing is for you.

This Childcare Briefing for Prospective Group-based Providers workshop aims to:

  • Help you know what to expect​ during the process of becoming a registered group-based childcare business in Birmingham

  • Increase your understanding of any applicable requirements and responsibilities​ you will have once appropriately registered

  • Help you to understand the support available to you from our Early Years and Childcare Service

  • Signpost you to further relevant information​

Overall, we want to prepare you as much as possible for your journey to becoming group based childcare provider in Birmingham.
