Decorative banner

A session for Birmingham Childminders, facilitated by Birmingham City Council Early Years & Childcare Service

Childminders, you are warmly invited to join us for a friendly and informative open conversation designed specifically for childminders.

Together, we'll explore current best practice in safer sleep and safer eating, helping you to reflect on your own provision and strengthen the safety and wellbeing of the children in your care.

This is an opportunity to discuss key guidance, share experiences, ask questions and consider practical ways to support safe sleep and mealtime routines within your setting.

Whether you're new to childminding or an experienced practitioner, this session will provide a valuable space to refresh your knowledge and connect with colleagues.

Come along to:

  • Explore safer sleep and safer eating guidance

  • Reflect on everyday practice

  • Ask questions and share experiences

  • Build confidence in supporting children's safety and wellbeing

  • Network with fellow childminders in a supportive environment

Our aim is for you to partake in a relaxed, supportive conversation focused on keeping babies and young children safe.

Target audience: Birmingham-based childminders
