SAVE THE DATE - FREE WORKSHOP: Assessment and Moderation in the EYFS

In this workshop, we will touch on all assessments in the EYFS, including the two-year-old progress checks, Reception baseline assessment, and the EYFSP.

We will also explore how continuous assessment contributes to planning and supports the progress of all children.

During the session, we will cover:

  • How assessments can be inclusive and demonstrate children’s uniqueness

  • Best practices for accurate and reliable assessments in line with Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements

  • Share and discuss good practices related to assessment

  • Progress check at age 2

  • Observe, Assess, Plan, Do, Review cycle

  • Observation, assessment, and planning

  • Funds of knowledge

  • Development matters checkpoints

  • Setting-based moderation

Target audience: PVI settings, nursery practitioners, room leaders
