WellComm Data Spreadsheet and Data Collection for PVI Settings: Demo and support session led by Birmingham City Council Early Years & Childcare Service
WellComm is Birmingham's approved universal speech, language and communication screening tool, supporting a consistent approach to identifying, assessing and meeting children's speech, language and communication needs across early years settings.
Each term, Private, Voluntary and Independent (PVI) settings are asked to submit their WellComm screening data to help us understand the impact of the WellComm programme and monitor the progress Birmingham's children are making in their speech, language and communication development. This information is collected alongside your headcount return through the Early Education Entitlement (EEE) Portal.
This online session will guide you through the WellComm data collection process, including how to use the WellComm data spreadsheet to accurately record and collate screening outcomes. We will also explore how to plan and schedule your termly screening so that your data is ready for submission when headcount returns are due.
There will be opportunities throughout the session to ask questions, share challenges, and receive practical guidance and support.
By attending, you will:
Understand Birmingham's expectations for WellComm data submission
Learn how to complete the WellComm data spreadsheet accurately
Develop a termly screening plan that aligns with EEE headcount deadlines
Know where to access further advice, guidance and support when needed.
