Bringing Birmingham’s Early Years Community together

Helping Birmingham’s children thrive, and serving those who support them

About BEYN

The Birmingham Early Years Networks (BEYN) is a place for the whole Early Years Community to connect, collaborate, and communicate.

We build professional partnerships in order to develop pedagogical practice to improve educational outcomes for the young children of Birmingham.

Our Approach

We support

  • Childminders

  • Private Voluntary & Independents settings (PVIs)

  • Maintained nursery schools

  • Infant and primary schools

  • Special schools

  • Out of school provision

  • Children's Centres and all those working with children under 5 and their families

You can access information about activities and practice in your district and across the city. This is your space, and we welcome your contributions, comments, and feedback on what we share online.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

We offer a range of courses: whether you're just starting in your training or you've been in the profession for 30+ years, we've got plenty of fantastic CPD to suit every need.
